Our Volunteer Program empowers individuals to lead, advocate, and organize for the Latine community. Through orientation, regular meetings, and training sessions, we equip volunteers with the tools to create meaningful, lasting impact.

Volunteer Orientation: A comprehensive introduction to the program’s goals, values, and opportunities, equipping volunteers with the foundation they need to succeed.

Bi-Monthly Volunteer Meetings: Regular meetings to foster collaboration, provide updates on initiatives, and create space for shared learning and connection.

Quarterly Training Sessions: Skill-building workshops that prepare volunteers to lead effectively and address community challenges with confidence.

Through this experience, I’ve had the pleasure of helping create activities that invite others to participate and connect. The Latine Environmental Colectivo has both challenged and expanded my thinking, while also allowing me to give back to our community in ways that align with my values.
The time is now. We can no longer sit idly by, in the background, waiting for unjust systems to magically become more just. Not without our collective action and dedication to each other.
