Noche de Guayabera is Avanzamos Unidos’ signature celebration of Latine culture, community, and collective power. Each year, the event brings together community leaders, partners, supporters, and friends for an unforgettable evening of music, food, connection, and celebration. More than a fundraiser, Noche de Guayabera is an opportunity to honor our culture, strengthen relationships, and invest in Avanzamos Unidos’ work to advance civic engagement, leadership development, racial equity, and a more just Ohio. Come dressed in your favorite guayabera - or festive cocktail attire - and celebrate the strength of our comunidad.

As our community continues to grow, so does the need for consistent, high-quality leadership development, civic engagement initiatives, and accessible spaces where community members can connect, learn, and organize.

Rooted in the mission of Avanzamos Unidos, formerly known as Young Latino Network, to educate and equip the Latine community by fostering civic engagement, promoting racial equity, and deepening understanding of our cultural identity for a more just and equitable Ohio, this expansion enables us to engage more community members, develop the next generation of leaders, strengthen civic participation, and create lasting opportunities for education, connection, and collective action across our communities.
